For our subsidiary Wirecard Technologies GmbH, Aschheim, we are seeking to strengthen our team.

Your Duties

• Administer the Issuing applications
• Proactive monitoring of applications to ensure high availability of critical functions
• 3rd Level Support in close collaboration with Infrastructure teams
• Experience with SQL reports and setup Control-M scheduled batch programs
• Provide technical expertise during the launch or integration of new applications
• Define and implement performance and availability SLAs
• Maintain configuration and operational documents for the applications
• On-call duty to guarantee 24/7 system availability

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Strong Linux skills with multiple years of admin experience
• Expert scripting knowledge (PL/SQL, Perl, Shell) with focus on automated solutions for common processes
• Ability to grasp complex dependencies between multiple systems
• Strong knowledge of monitoring tools (Nagios), including design of new monitoring checks
• Expert of Java application containers (eg: Tomcat, Weblogic)
• Experience with high-availability concepts, basic Java, Puppet, RPM, subversion tools
• Excellent communication skills in English
